INNOVATE LONGMONT LAUNCHES BRICKS, A NEW SHARED RETAIL STORE, IN DOWNTOWN LONGMONT

Longmont, Colo.: Innovate Longmont has opened a new retail pop up on Main street. Bricks, open now through the end of 2020 in the Pop Up Longmont space at 320 Main street. The store features carefully curated locally manufactured gifts, apparel, packaged foods, hand crafted items and more. Shoppers can learn about companies and founders currently in a 10 week accelerator program of Innovate Longmont as well as other Colorado made products not in the program.  In addition to being a shopping and vendor resource,  Bricks will host a variety of educational and fun pop up events for everyone to enjoy. 

“Two major goals of the Downtown Longmont master plan are retain and grow locally owned and operated businesses and appeal to and attract innovative and entrepreneurial businesses. The Longmont Downtown Development Authority board is excited to partner with Innovate Longmont on this creative concept that brings local businesses and retail to the Downtown footprint.”- Kimberlee McKee, Executive Director of the Longmont Downtown Development Authority.

Innovate Longmont plans to eventually turn Bricks into a permanent resource for the entrepreneurial community and to serve as a unique retail offering in Longmont. Vendors can participate with flexible length of time and/or size of space and those who want to sell retail but prefer not to have the overhead of their own store, or to incubate companies who grow into their own dedicated space. 

Companies or people producing goods interested in selling goods in the store may do so by visiting the Bricks website https://bricksretail.com. Store hours are Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm and Friday/Saturday 10am-8pm.
